With a touch of Miami through it’s low-rise 70s beach huts, and a little bit of Bocagrande Columbia with it’s high-rise buildings that sit right on the sand, Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast really is a beach like no other.

It’s iconically Australian, but definitely has some North American influence to it.

With it’s picture perfect coves and bays which follow the coastline, as well as it’s extremely chilled out vibe, the beaches and coves in Byron Bay will have you thinking that you’re in Itacare, Brazil! Both of these destinations are places where you can relax and really chill out.

#3 Cottesloe Beach, Perth – Western Australia

Just by looking at the beautiful turquoise water and the shape of the coastline, both Cottesloe Beach in Perth, and the beaches of Cape Town, South Africa have some strong similarities.

With their pure white sand, both beaches are popular spots for swimming, snorkelling and surfing. And the sunsets are amazing at both destinations too.
