#1 Cheshire Grimm & Skinny Hobos, Saturday 25th February, Bar 303, Melbourne

If you need a fix of rock and cannot wait another moment longer, Bar 303 is the place to go. Supporting their new release Rain or Shine, Cheshire Grimm will showcase their love for psychedelic rock and how they’ve managed to fuse it with grungy rock to produce mesmerising tunes. As support, big sound duo Skinny Hobos will amaze you with their raw intensity; labelled as one of the hardest working bands in NZ, Skinny Hobos are continuing their strong momentum from 2016. #2 Kllo, HABITS, Kimci Princi – Friday 24th February, Chippendale Hotel

What’s better than seeing one of Sydney’s best electronic acts? Well, three of course. Queue this month’s lineup of Red Bull Sound Select highlighting upcoming local talent. With the likes of Kimci Princi dropping hot bars, HABITS luring you in with atmospheric electronica and Kllo tying it all together with their catchy pop sound, you’re already set for a good night out.

#3 Winterbourne + Joe Mungovan, Friday 24th February, Brass Monkey

If you’re after another flavour of sound this Friday, be sure to catch Winterbourne at Sydney’s Brass Monkey. The duo have enlisted the help of talented cellist/pianist/vocalist, Joe Mungovan to add a layer of depth to their performance. They’ve been touring this fine country to hordes of hearty fans, if you’re a keen observer of weighty folk music, you should be at this gig.

#4 The Creases – Saturday 25th February, Hudson Ballroom

Before The Creases release their debut album Tremolow, get into their latest single, Everybody Knows. Known for their infectious flair and high energy, this show is a great opportunity to see their evolution of sound since the release of their Gradient EP. If you’re down for some solid indie tunes this weekend, The Creases should be number one on your radar.

#5 Jagwar Ma, Saturday 25th February, The Bucket List Bondi

Want to catch one of the hottest bands of 2016 for free? Really… this probably doesn’t need to be a question. Make sure to head down to The Bucket List in Bondi this Saturday to catch Jagwar Ma laying down their alternative dance tunes with Jack River and The Babe Rainbow in  support of a good vibe weekend. And for the rest of the nation, no stress, they’re doing the rounds! Coming to a town near you, real soon.
