Nikki BermeisterBritney Spears recently announced she was cancelling her tour and going into a mental health facility on Wednesday 3 April. However, chilling evidence just released suggests that Britney may currently be held against her will.
A new movement among Spears’ followers has recently kicked off, originating from the fan podcast, BritneysGram. The movement, #FreeBritney, intends to expose her current situation. The star has been under a conservatorship since 2008 when she previously entered a mental health facility. This means that someone else has full control over her personal choices. And that person is her father.
The two hosts of the podcast received a voicemail from a reputable source (a paralegal who previously worked with the conservatorship lawyer) who released some very unnerving information.
“Britney was in rehearsal for Domination [her show]. It came to Jamie Spears’ attention that Britney was not taking her medication as prescribed. She was missing a lot of doses … They got her to the doctor, the doctor said, ‘Ok, if you don’t want this medication you can take a new one’. Well, she she refused to take the new one.
“So Jamie said either you take this medication or the show’s off.”
The threats that the undisclosed paralegal describes become very serious in light of Jamie’s actions.
“Britney did not follow Jamie’s instruction and he was true to his word — he pulled the show. He said verbatim, ‘blame it on my illness’.”
Directly following this, in Mid January, Britney posted an Instagram stating she would be cancelling her tour due to her father’s illness.

The paralegal continues, explaining the disturbing events that followed the cancellation of her tour.
“Fast forward a couple days … Britney is still not following through her medication … She is seen with Sam [Asghari, her boyfriend] driving. It’s a big rule that she broke.”
Why is this such a big issue? Since 2008, and the beginning of her conservatorship, Jamie Spears decided that Britney is not allowed to drive. The conservatorship also means she must take her medication.

Horrifyingly, the story continues.
“Britney has been in the mental facility since mid-January. Of course, the statement said she entered last week … it’s not true.
“There is no end in sight for this stay at this mental facility to end. She did not want to go … This was not a decision she made at all.”
It has come to the attention of the Britney Spears fanbase that she is in fact being held against her will in a mental facility by her conservator, Jamie Spears. Her father has a history of alcoholism and abuse towards the family (according to wife Lynne Spears in her book Through The Storm). Fans are now banding together in order to create awareness and free Britney from 1. the mental facility and 2. the conservatorship.
