5 Acts Sure To Smash The Stage At THIS THAT Festival

Set times have just been announced; meaning THIS THAT Festival is just around the corner. Held in the coastal city of Newcastle, you know the festival will be bringing great vibes and even better, plenty of quality Aussie artists ready to smash the stage. But if you’re stumped with clashes and can’t work out who to catch, we’ve narrowed it down to five of our faves.

#1 Winston Surfshirt

If you’re after some chill arvo vibes, Winston Surfshirt is the act to catch. They have absolutely blown up across the country in the last months, and are taking the festival stage during their national tour. You can’t afford to miss them.

#2 Paces

Also taking time out of his national tour, Paces heads to THIS THAT to share his electronica sounds. The release of his studio album last year has brought him great success, working with the likes of Safia and Tkay Maidza. If you’ve never heard of the guy, well you’re in for a pleasant surprise.

#3 The Presets

They are living Aussie legends. With such a great reputation for live performances, there is no hesitation that The Presets will absolutely kill the THIS THAT stage. On at 7:45pm you know you’ll still have just enough energy to dance around to their bangers.

#4 Carmada

With banging beats and groovy style, Carmada is an act you sure as hell need to see. They are one of THIS THAT’s headliners, taking on one of the main stages for the last sessions of the evening. Whether you follow their music or not, at least make it for their performance of ‘Maybe’, we beg of you.

#5 Colour Castle

They might not be one of the festival headliners, but the rise of Colour Castle after this festival is one you want to be apart of. He is notorious for driving dancefloors in Sydney, so he will certainly be doing the same up in Newcastle. Mixing some sweet house beats, be sure to being your dancing shoes to his stage.
