#1 OWT. Xmas Eve Rooftop Party at Kings Cross Hotel 24/12

The party crew selling out warehouses and creating environments of booming sonic magic are back. This time they’re taking over Christmas Eve, it’s a 2pm start too, so you can roll into Christmas Day without a killer hangover. Up and comers McLean & Mai will be carving it up, along with a stellar team of artists. Rooftop, tunes and a killer lineup, it’s like Christmas came early.

#2 Too Gosh Darn Loud at Newtown Social Club 28/12

They’re back baby and they’re ready to turn it up. Much to the dismay of the fun police. Revel with The Blind Hot Gems at their welcome back gig at Netwown Social Club. If you’re wondering just what you will do on those days in between the food fest of Christmas and the booze fest of NYE that follows, fear not. We have the answer. With Mabel, The Khanz and Dobby playing their wonderful sounds as the evening goes on, it’ll be a solid night from the get go.

#3 Mantra Collective Warehouse Party at TBC 31/12

A BYO New Years option with a stellar lineup and a secret location? Um, where do we sign up. #5 Halfway Crooks at Hudson Ballroom 14/1

Straight from the Field Day stage and into their favourite spot Hudson Ballroom, Halfway Crooks are back. Think of it like a taste tester, spinning all the hot tracks to come for the year ahead. Halfway Crooks marry rap, R&B classics and new bangers with ease, each toggle of the dial as if it’s nothing. We’re not sure just yet what the new word for lit will be come 2017, but insert it here. Rap. Squad. Fire. Etc.
