5 Of The Wildest Celebrity Controversies That You Totally Forgot About, Ranked

Remember when Justin Bieber said Anne Frank would’ve been a belieber?

Celebs never cease to amaze me in their commitment to pull crazy stunts that the rest of us normies would one hundred percent get arrested and locked up for.

I mean, remember when Cardi B threw an actual shoe at Nicki Minaj? Or when Robert Downey Jr went on a bender and ended up an in 11 year old’s bed?

Celebrities get away with all kinds of bullshit, and we’re so used to their antics and the steady flow of celeb gossip that we forget the old and good stuff  pretty quickly. For your pleasure, here are my fave forgotten celebrity controversies.

#5 Justin Bieber Saying Anne Frank Would’ve Been A Belieber

This one makes me scream every time I remember it.

Basically, after visiting the Anne Frank museum, Justin Bieber left the dumbest comment in the history of museum guest book comments ever. It read:

Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.

Was he high as shit when he visited the museum? Rumours say yes. Does that make this funnier, or more disrespectful, or both? You decide.

#4 When Orlando Bloom Launched Himself Over A Couch To Punch Justin Bieber

Look, it was pretty funny regardless of what you think about a grown ass man trying to punch a 20 year old JB.

Apparently Justin Bieber made a comment about Miranda Kerr – The New York Post reckon he said “she was good” as a taunt about a rumoured hook up he had with her in 2012. Orlando Bloom, being freshly divorced from Kerr at the time, launched himself over a couch and tried to punch Bieber, while Leondardo DiCaprio cheered.

#3 When Liam Neeson Literally Said He Wanted To Murder Black Men

Yeah, Liam Neeson actually said in an interview that he used to look for excuses to murder black men.

I feel like including this interview in a list of celebrity controversies may downplay how awful it is, but we still need to expose it. I have no idea how people stopped talking about this, or what on earth Liam Neeson was thinking when he actually admitted this in an interview DURING BLACK HISTORY MONTH.

Here’s the quote:

I went up and down areas with a cosh [a bludgeon], hoping I’d be approached by somebody — I’m ashamed to say that,” he said.

And I did it for maybe a week, hoping some ‘black bastard’ would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? So that I could … kill him.”

WHAT THE FUCK.

#2 When Solange Beat The Shit Out Of Jay-Z In An Elevator While Beyonce Watched

Iconic. We stan female solidarity. It gets better when you realise that not long after this incident, Lemonade was released.

Jay Z and Betonce were super quiet about the incident in the press, and then in 2017 Jay Z came out and defended Solange, saying they have their differences but they mostly get along and that she’s like a sister to him. So I guess they got over their beef?

#1 When Lindsay Lohan Literally Tried To KIDNAP A Refugee Kid

This one is the absolute wildest one, guys. Like, for real crazy shit.

Okay, I know Lindsay was going through some things, but this was and is still racist garbage. She pretty much tells an Arab refugee woman to hand over her kid or be a bad mother, and then accuses the family of child trafficking before Lohan then tries to kidnap the child?!

This is some white saviour nonsense. As far as celebrity controversies go, this one is, in my humble opinion, the wildest.
