All international flights in and out of Sydney airport are currently grounded after smoke was detected in the air traffic control tower. There are reports the the control tower has since been evacuated.

It’s not clear yet what started the fire but tweets are flying around that firetrucks are attending the scene and the airport terminal is currently in lockdown.
