All You Need To Know About 2020’s Bachelor Locky Gilbert

Locklan ‘Locky’ Gilbert of Australian Survivor fame has been announced as the 2020 Bachelor.

The tatted up 30 year old has been competing in this year’s Australian Survivor All Stars and was only eliminated last night, so excellent timing for the announcement on behalf on Channel 10.

For a little background on Australia’s new sweetheart, he’s a professional adventurer through his company Four Elements Adventure, where he runs guided tours around Bali. Think secret waterfalls, hiking to the tops of volcanoes, and scuba diving through WWII ship wrecks. The dates this year are CERTAINLY going to be interesting.

Locky says his main goal in a relationship is to find someone he can love and be best friends with: “I’ve got best friends, but I want to find that one best friend that I can spend the rest of my life with. This is an amazing opportunity to hopefully find someone special at the end.”

This won’t be the first time Locky’s relationship has been in the public eye. He’s previous dated Australian Survivor: All Stars co-star Brooke, but the two didn’t work out after they finished filming.

I’m really excited to see a pretty regular Aussie guy as the Bachelor, and while I’d love it to be a stranger rather than someone who’s already a public figure, I reckon Locky’s a pretty good choice. He’s certainly going to look amazing running across a beach shirtless in the promotional clips.
