Amazon has recently been listing Auschwitz Christmas Ornaments that can only be described as downright offensive and disrespectful. The retail giant listed Christmas tree decorations, a bottle opener and key ring with images of Auschwitz concentration camp printed on them. The Auschwitz Memorial Twitter account tweeted to Amazon, asking them to please remove the items from their site.
They wrote, “Selling “Christmas ornaments” with images of Auschwitz does not seem appropriate,” adding, “We ask @amazon to remove the items of those suppliers.”
Thankfully, Amazon respectfully listened and within hours of the tweet being posted, removed the ornaments from their site. However, as we all know too well, whatever goes on the internet stays on the internet. And unfortunately for Amazon, I think the damage has already been done.
Check out Amazon’s f’d up Christmas decorations for yourself.

People Are Outraged And Rightfully So
The selection of Christmas decorations which include a bottle opener have been described as “horrendous” and “horrifically disrespectful.”
It’s unsure whether or not Amazon published these items on purpose, or accidentally, however whatever the case was, they have definitely lost the respect of a lot of customers after this publicity nightmare. I can only imagine the hurt and distress that Amazon has caused the Jewish community.
People Are Taking To Twitter To Express Their Disgust
After just visiting the @auschwitzxhibit this weekend, I come across these ornaments on @amazon. This is disgusting and disrespectful to Jews everywhere and the 1.1 million that were killed at Auschwitz. Do better @amazon. #NeverForget https://t.co/L5fWpO9lwh

Sadly, It’s Not Over Yet, Amazon Is Still Selling Auschwitz Mousepads
Sadly, it is not over yet @amazon. The “Massacre Auschwitcz (!) Birkenau Jewish Death” mousepad is another disturbing online product. We are not sure if @yadvashem would like the “Christmas ornament” with a freight car used for deporting Jews for extermination either. https://t.co/qDEEzqzwSU pic.twitter.com/wXExhFZPmV

On Amazon’s “Offensive and Controversial Materials” page, the company states that it does not “allow products that promote, incite or glorify hatred, violence, racial, sexual or religious intolerance or promote organizations with such views.” These ideals have clearly not been reflected.
This whole thing is a disgrace and Amazon needs to remove ALL of the products immediately. You can help the cause by tweeting @Amazon, and encouraging them to remove all Auschwitz items from their site.
