It’s been an eventful few weeks. Gaga split with her now ex-fiancé and we were rudely led to believe a Cooper-Gaga fairytale was finally going to make all things right in the world. A steamy Oscar performance of ‘Shallow’ soon followed and we were unmistakably forced to consider where their wedding would soon take place.
But in a shocking turn of events, Cooper-Gaga fanatics were pushed to the curb as Gaga friendzoned poor Coops in an Insta tribute that shook the world.

Nothing could be more special than sharing this moment at the Oscars with a true friend and artistic genius.

Gaga stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night to discuss her big Oscar win and rumours that her and Cooper pretty much shamelessly have on-screen sex every damn time they perform ‘Shallow’ – basically also any other time they’re in a 1 metre radius of each other.
Well, apparently we’ve been ‘fooled’.
“OK, first of all, like, social media, quite frankly, is the toilet of the internet, and what it has done to pop culture is just abysmal. And yes, people saw love, and guess what? That’s what we wanted you to see.”
“This is a love song, ‘Shallow’, the movie, A Star Is Born, is a love story.”
“From a performance perspective, it was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time. Look, I’ve had my arms wrapped around Tony Bennett for three years touring the world. When you sing love songs, that’s what you want people to feel.”
It may look like we’ve been pushed to the depths of a deep, dark reality that a Cooper-Gaga fairytale is off the cards entirely. To the average folk, this interview would mark the end of the Cooper-Gaga obsession but to us fanatics, it’s simply a cover up. Gaga you think you’ve fooled us but in reality, it’s you being fooled by your own blind love.
