Rolling Loud Australia, Headlined By Future, Sells Out in 38 Minutes

A few days ago, it was announced that Rolling Loud would be making their way down to Australian soil. Boasted as the biggest hip-hop festival in the world, the long-awaited lineup was sure to be killer. And boy, they weren’t kidding around. The first wave of artists to be announced in its first ever Australian bill is stacked. Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Tyga, Smokepurpp and Manu Crook$ have all been set to perfrom at Sydney Showgrounds, Olympic Park on Sunday 27 January.

As of 16 November, 2018, Rolling Loud has sold out its Australian event in less than 40 minutes. More than 30,000 people registered following the festival announcement on Monday.

Rolling Loud Australia is the first time the festival will ever leave American soil, and has obviously proved to be a success. Thursday’s pre-sale sold out in 20 minutes, and today in less than 18. Founders Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif expressed their gratitude. “We can’t begin to express how excited we are; it has been a dream of ours to take Rolling Loud around the world for the past five years. The response from hip hop fans Down Under is amazing. 20,000 tickets sold out in 24 hours. Wow. Rolling Loud, forever.”

Rolling Loud is a one-day hip hop spectacular that started in Miami, Florida in 2015. Since then, they’ve expanded to Los Angeles and San Francisco before making their way down under. They’ve boasted some of the biggest names in the game, including Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Post Malone, Cardi B and A$AP Rocky.

There isn’t word of more tickets being released, but make sure to keep your eyes peeled for a possible next wave. Stay up to date with tickets here.
