Billie Eilish, Jonas Brothers Performing On John Krasinski’s Virtual Prom Is Most Wholesome Content Of COVID-19

I’m not crying.

It’s hard to really to dislike anything about John Krasinski aka Jim from The Office. He’s charming, he’s funny, he’s now peak dork as a dad, Emily Blunt is equally as lovely. He also started the whole Some Good News series of videos which have been a breath of fresh air amidst lockdowns, isolation and just general tough and frustrating times for the world.

And his latest prom-power-play was honestly the most wholesome thing I’ve seen recently.

As many high-schoolers would be missing out on their prom (or formal as us Aussies know it), JK decided to do a bit of a virtual event to give young people doing it tough a reason to smile. And just low-key featuring Billie Eilish, The Jonas Brothers and Chance The Rapper.

Billie and JoBro both did live performances (bad guy and Sucker both went OFF even with the challenge of being live via webcam) – featuring absolutely adorable, daggy dance moves by Krasinski (peep that top right corner).

Meanwhile Chance joined in to do some Tik Tok dances (bless), and even Jim’s old pal Rainn Wilson (aka Dwight Shrute) jumped on with some totally-scripted yet equally as fun bantz throughout the live event.

And the best part of it all? Seniors got all dressed up, had parties in their living rooms, and generally got loose over webcams in what was some seriously wholesome, positive-tears content which I totally can get behind.

I mean just look at all these magical people getting one hundred percent amongst it!!

Okay yes, it’s not the same as a real prom/formal. This wasn’t the way that these guys expected to spend such a huge night. But boy, you can bet it was really, really memorable.

You can watch the full recap episode, with all features and performances below.

God bless John Krasinski and all of you missing out on proms/formals/birthdays/celebrations.
