In some wholesome news to brighten a news week that has been pretty depresso, 21 firefighters from Canada are flying down under to help battle the flames across the country. Which means they’ll miss out on Xmas with the fam in a winter wonderland. Could this get any more wholesome?

Their deployment to assist in getting the huge amount of blazes burning nationwide under control will last around 38 days. This lil international friendship is everything – we’ve also helped them out battling their natural disasters, largely wildfires as well.
