Keen for this chilly weather to be over so so you can get back out in the sunshine? Triple J has your back with its music festival Yours and Owls lighting up Wollongong’s gorgeous beach this spring. Yours and Owls is boasting some killer artists in its line-up for this October, with the likes of Amy Shark, Courtney Barnett and Golden Features headlining. 😱
Yours and Owls went from chill backyard gatho to a must attend event on every festival goers calendar, with it’s awesome beach-side view and diverse range of music. It’s got almost 70 acts across its four stages, so there’s something for everyone. 😍
Fresh from her Love Monster tour, ARIA award winning indie pop icon Amy Shark is back in the local scene, headlining this year’s fezzie. She’s joined by Courtney Barnett, who’s just travelled the globe doing incredible live performances all while somehow remaining independant – basically, she’s a national treasure. Add dance DJ and mystery masked man Golden Treasures to the mix, and you’re guaranteed an insane time.
The 2019 festival has heaps of other great local talent, show casing what Aussie music is all about. Soak up that sunshine and hit the beach this October long weekend, and party hard to your Aussie faves.
