Foxtel Is Doing A SpongeBob Channel So You Can Watch It 24/7

Ight Imma Head Out

Sit down and buckle up for a wild ride guys, because you’re about to get sucked into the craziest binge of your life.  Foxtel is going to put up a new channel that will only play SpongeBob SquarePants for over two weeks, 24 hours of the day.

Basically, Foxtel is doing a freaking crazy 18-day mega-marathon of 11 seasons, 240 episodes and more than 432 hours of SpongeBob.

Um, what?!

You heard right – everyone’s fave meme is getting his own exclusive channel literally just so all of us can spend an unholy amount of time bingeing this show.

Foxtel when everyone subscribes just for the SpongeBob channel.

The new kids pop-up channel comes with SpongeBob’s 20th anniversary – our beloved SpongeBabe now has the longest running Nickelodeon animated kid series ever (it beat Rugrats which had 172 episodes). To celebrate, Nickelodeon has partnered with Foxtel to give you this exclusively SpongeBob SquarePants channel from 21 September to 8 October.

I mean, technically the channel is for kids since it’s coming up to coincide with school holidays. But we 100% know that all us Millennial and early Gen Z memelords are way more invested than those babies will ever be, and so this one is totally for us.

I’ve even compiled some memes to hype you up for this cursed 18-day couch marathon, so sit back, enjoy the laughs, and I’ll see you on the 21st.
