George, Gary and Matt Look Like They Will Score A New Amazon Or Netflix Show, So There’s That

The lads ain’t leaving you screens just yet.

Well, we’re on the dawn of a new era folks. Poor old grand finale champion Larissa (the youngest ever winner of MasterChef, mind you) has fallen by the way side in terms of promotion and coverage since taking out the comp on Tuesday night. Mainly thanks to the fallout from the Calombaris lack-of-payment scandal, and now the fact that all three MasterChef judges will be wrapping up on the show this year.

Old Georgie-boy was under enormous pressure to keep his spot anyways, but it’s clear your three favourite middle-aged white bros aren’t really going away. There’s reports that the lads may be on their way to a suuuuper lucrative mystery(box) deal with Amazon or Netflix in the coming weeks/months.

I will admit, I admire the bromance between George, Gary and Matt – as they have never thrown each other under the bus – especially Matt who came to George’s defence this week in the media.

But it’s not necessarily a good look, given the sheer scope of Calombaris’ wage theft. And, if you believe the reports, the three foodies were looking for a tasty 40% increase on their already multi-million dollar deals. Lot’s of responses from Channel 10 and media folk, but to put it simply, no salivating deal could be agreed.

If you needed some further proof of the three musketeers’ plans, they’ve taken out the business name “GGM Pty Ltd” (creative, gents). So it’s pretty likely we’ll see a Top Gear-esque change up for the lads on one of the biggest streaming channels worldwide.

More to come.
