Get Keen, Hilltop Hoods Have Announced 2019 Tour

It’s time to whip out your piggy bank because Aussie hip hop legends Hilltop Hoods just announced a massive 2019 tour.

The ‘Great Expanse World Tour’ – named after their eighth album and record-breaking sixth ARIA chart-topper – will take the boys to 14 countries, kicking off in New Zealand and Australia at the end of July.

The trio will be making a return to the big arenas in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, and Perth (so you’re guaranteed to catch them in a major city near you). It’s the first headline tour since their sold-out Restrung Tour in 2016, and this time they’ll be joined by up-and-comers Mojo Juju, Shadow, and DJ Nino Brown.

After giving us a taste of their fresh tunes during their Groovin The Moo set (I can confirm, from the shaky Snapchat story I saw, it slapped), touring with Eminem, Suffa, Pressure, and DJ Debris, and blowing up the radio airwaves, you know the Adelaide boys will put on a ripper show.

I reckon you can expect a yuge setlist packed with our new and old favourites: from the flutes of ‘The Nosebleed Section’, to ‘Cosby Sweater’ and the strings of ‘1995′, to their latest jams ‘Leave Me Lonely’, ‘Exit Sign’, ‘Clark Griswold’, and ‘Into the Abyss’.

Oof, are you ready?

You’ve got one week to raid your savings and pool your spare change to snag a ticket on Monday 20th May (at 10am, local time). Or for the die-hard fans, presale will be on Wednesday 15th May – check out the details on the Hilltop Hoods website.
