All The Crazy Good Shit Coming To Netflix This October

Namely, the Breaking Bad movie

Somehow, here we are down another month of 2019. Am I terrified of how fast this year is flying, and that life just seems to be zooming by me at uncontrollable rates while I sip virgin mojitos and write dating pieces on how you should dump your boyfriend? Yes. Am I going to cope with that by actually trying to make the most of the time I have on this planet? You bet your ass I’m not.

Instead, I’m going to enjoy Spooktober and binge Netflix like hell’s tomorrow. So buckle up baby, and let’s get bingeing. Here’s our top picks for October.

TV Series

Peaky Blinders Season 5 (October 4)

Bring out the blankets and chips and get ready to binge this family crime drama. This season will find “the world thrown into turmoil by the financial crash of 1929,” according to it’s official synopsis. It’s getting hella good reviews, so you know you’re in for a good time and some major thrills.

Big Mouth Season 3 (October 4)

The Fab Five are in Big Mouth this season, need I say more?

Riverdale Season 4 (October 10, weekly episodes)

River new poster and tagline.

The CW just released Riverdale’s new poster yesterday, so the hype for Riverdale’s season 4 is real. The tagline for this season is “Sex. Lies. Videotapes.” So, you know it’s going to be spicy. In this season we’re finally going to find out if Jughead is dead or not, and TBH I’m not ready.

Surviving R. Kelly Season 1 (October 22)

This six part doco is going to be absolutely loaded, with young women everywhere coming out to share their experiences of sexual abuse with controversial (at best) R. Kelly.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (11 October)

Oh my god guys, it’s (basically) here. I feel like just yesterday there were only speculations about this film, and now the follow up to critically acclaimed Breaking Bad is finally right at our door step. The anticipation has been crazy. Get ready folks, that’s all I’m sayin’.

Jaws, and Jaws: The Revenge (October 11)

Um hello excuse me Jaws is one of my favourite franchises of all time and I definitely will be bingeing it this Spooktober. I freakin’ LOVE monster movies, and there’s no faster way to my heart than a good monster movie on a windy Halloween night. This month is absolutely KILLER with the classics. There’s more just below.

Back To The Future Part III (October 11)

Oh yes, there’s more. Not only are we getting Jaws, but we have this bad baby to watch too. Granted, it’s not as good as the first one, but who cares? Now we can all cry together about  Doc’s love, and also continue mourning our lack of hover boards or time travel here in 2019.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them (October 28)

Why you would watch Fantastic Beasts when you could just rewatch Harry Potter, I don’t know. Okay, maybe I’m a HP purist. Whatevs. I’ll admit that the first Fantastic Beasts movie is actually pretty good and I enjoyed it, but I need you to understand that the series as a whole is terrible. So, do with that info what you will.

Pitch Perfect 3 (October 7)

Yes, the Pitch Perfect movie no one asked for made it onto my list for Spooktober recommendations. Is it not terrible enough that you can enjoy it on a Sunday afternoon while you talk shit with the girls/etc and eat a cheese platter?
