All The Isolation Binge Treats Coming To Netflix This May

Um, there are SO MANY BANGERS ON THIS LIST.

How is it that March went on for like three years, but April was over in a week? Time in 2020 doesn’t seem real. But then again, 2020 itself is surely a divine prank on us poor sods stuck in the worst simulation ever.

Am I terrified of how fast this year is flying, and that life just seems to be Zooming (pun-intended) by me at uncontrollable rates while I sip virgin mojitos and spend all my time saving funny Tweets to create meme compilation articles? Yes. Am I going to cope with isolation by actually trying to make the most of the time I have on this planet? You bet your ass I’m not.

Instead, I’m going to enjoy my newfound time to be a couch potato and binge Netflix like hell’s tomorrow. So buckle up baby, and let’s get bingeing. Here’s our top picks for May.

TV Series

Hollywood Limited Series (May 1st)

Okay, so I hadn’t even heard of this show till like, right now, but HOW GOOD DOES THIS TRAILER LOOK. I’m so hyped, this is my binge recommendation of the month even though I literally know nothing about it.

Trial By Media (May 11)

The love for true crime docos has skyrocketed these past few years with things like Making A Murderer, and now the latest doc series being Tiger King – we’ve reached obsession. Therefore it’s no surprise that Netflix is releasing another doco-series, and this one is about the impact media has on criminal cases, and it’s supposed to be a ripper.

Dead To Me Season 2 (May 8)

Space Force (May 29)

This show is getting MAJOR hype. Netflix’s replacement of The Office (oh, you didn’t know that they’re getting rid of it at the end of this year?), this show is expected to be just as good. I think. Personally I never got past the first few episodes of The Office, so I can’t really comment. Anyway, Space Force is made by the same team and also stars Steve Carell, so you’re probs in for a good time.

Jerry Seinfeld: 23 Hours To Kill (May 5)

Seinfield is back, proving he’s the master of sharp, quick-witted humour in this stand-up special.

Hannah Gadsby: Douglas (May 26)

We all need a laugh right now, and Hannah Gadsby is going to DELIVER. Blast this loud enough to drown out all the daily bad news, and get giggling.
