If you haven’t caught the latest trailer for Netflix’s new drama The Society, you should totally get on it. The new series is a modern version of everyone’s year 10 novel study Lord of the Flies. So expect plenty of power struggles, teens hating on each other, and a fair whack of murder.
A group of teenagers are mysteriously transported to a facsimile of their wealthy town. But with no parents, no adults, and no rules, there’s bound to be some issues. Cue the montage of Queen Bees taking power, underdogs trying to take it back, and all round, general chaos.
People are already drawing similarities between Riverdale and The 100. Lets hope it doesn’t fall into the same WTF trap that Riverdale fell victim to.
The trailer, which dropped today, is enough to send chills down your spine. And with every episode of The Society dropping on May 10, I know what I’ll be doing. Catch the trailer below.
