Queen Lizzo has been touring Australia, with shows selling out in seconds and breaking the internet. However, at the moment she’s paused her tour – to help bushfire victims.
The legend herself was spotted on Wednesday packing food hampers in Melbourne’s Foodbank, where the packages would be sent to people from the worst affected areas.
We had the one and only Lizzo helping us sort and pack hampers in the warehouse today! If you’d like to join Lizzo in supporting the bushfire crisis, visit https://t.co/aDyjFTSsLE 💜 pic.twitter.com/J5Nn0oyyod

The official Foodbank Twitter account posted heaps of tweets showing Lizzo helping out and interacting with volunteers, and dedicated a section of their website on educating Lizzo fans on the fires and how they can help out.

Foodbank is the largest provider of food relief in Victoria, and they’ve been doing some really important work around getting food to those who need it most. At the moment they’re focusing on bushfire victims from the worst affected towns, and you can donate to them here.
While we’re obviously obsessed with Lizzo and everything she stands for, there’s no shortage of trolls criticising her for anything from her weight to her attitude. She’s won the hearts of Aussie’s everywhere though, and this tweet basically sums up what we think about all the hate.
And while people sit there hating @lizzo because it’s “C0oL” to hate whats popular, and continue to body shame her, SHES out there being an incredible person/ gift to the world… be more like lizzo and stop being a miserable internet troll! pic.twitter.com/Hq464TlD62
