Australian fans have been waiting so patiently for the return of everyone’s favourite cartoon duo, Rick And Morty. After three politically incorrect, mind boggling seasons and months of waiting for a fourth, the time has finally come.
American viewers got the luxury of watching the fourth season on November 10, but for Australians it’s been a long and painful wait. But alas, we finally have a release date for the Adult Swim production and it’s the 22nd of December.
US viewers only have three eps of the series so far and apparently Australian Netflix was waiting for all six of the eps to drop in The States, before debuting them here. The six episodes titled, “Edge of Tomorty: Rick Die Rickpeat”, “The Old Man and the Seat”, “One Crew over the Crewcoo’s Morty”, “Claw and Hoarder: Special Ricktim’s Morty” and “Rattlestar Ricklactica”—will drop at once, instead of weekly. Yahoooo.
Anyway, Here’s What We Know About The First Three Episodes So Far
EPISODE ONE: “Edge of Tomorty: Rick Die Rickpeat”
In this episode, Rick takes Morty to an alien planet to harvest special crystals that can show the holder all of their possible future deaths. Without too many spoilers, we see a few alternate universe Ricks including Wasp Rick and Holographic Rick.
EPISODE TWO: “The Old Man and the Seat”
In summary, without giving anything away, Rick leaves the planet to use his personal toilet as he is a ‘private pooper.’ While he’s gone Jerry instructs Rick’s new intern to develop a matchmaking app for him.
EPISODE THREE: “One Crew over the Crewcoo’s Morty”
In this episode Rick and Morty attempt to raid an alien tomb and discover that it has already been . raided by a famous alien heist artist. There are lots of Netflix references and Mr. Poopybutthole makes a reappearance. Nice!
