In heart breaking that news that I can’t stop thinking about, a homeless man’s dog has been stolen from him in Sydney.
Yep, you read that right. Some wank stole a dog from a HOMELESS man. Who steals from homeless people?!
Nathan, the man who lost his dog Shagy, went to the bathroom for a couple of minutes in Circular Quay around 2pm on Sunday, 30 August, when his little pup disappeared.
Obviously distressed, he called for help but everyone treated him like he was crazy. He even asked a police officer for assistance, but unsurprisingly, they didn’t help him either.
“All I could do was sit on my bed and cry,” Nathan told Arthur & Co. Pet Concierge.
Nathan rescued Shagy as a wee pup at the end of last year, around Christmas. She was left in a skip bin with a trolly on top of her. According to Nathan, the vet said she had been abused and neglected by her previous owners and was near dead. Nathan pretty much nursed her back to life, and he’s been carrying her with him every day since.
It’s been confirmed that she was in fact stolen, as the pet detectives (is anyone else pleasantly surprised to know this is a thing?) looking for her have traced her to a vet, and are now working to figure out where she went from there.
