Spice Girls’ Manager Has Confirmed A Movie Is In The Works, So Spice Us Right Up

We haven’t heard much from Scary, Baby, Ginger, Posh, and Sporty lately so we’re pretty psyched to hear of news that an animated Spice Girls movie is officially in the works. The manager of the iconic 90s girl band Simon Fuller announced the bombshell whilst speaking to Billboard.

“I’m so happy for the girls. What’s coming next is that we are going to be doing lots of exciting things. We’ll be making an animated movie and there are lots of exciting plans to come,” Fuller said.

No 90s child can deny that the Spice Girls’ hit banger Wannabe was the anthem of the decade. The track sold over six million copies internationally (SIX MILLION!) And we feel absolutely blessed to have watched the Girls grow and evolve over the years.

Spice Girls pretty much defined #hairgoals and were the first to make electric blue eyeshadow a thing.

It’s been a long 17 years since the Spice Girls officially broke up, but we’re still seeing a few of them making a name for themselves every now and then. You’ve probably seen Scary Spice (Mel B) judging on X Factor and Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham) has continued to grow her multi million dollar fashion label alongside mega hottie football star David Beckham.

Whilst the Spice Girls 2019 UK tour which was announced last year will only feature 4 out of 5  girls, we can’t contain our excitement that the band will be reuniting on-screen for their animated movie.
