The Delta Riggs And The Gooch Palms Are Playing A Free One-Day Whiskey Festival In Sydney Today

Oh Sydney, you’re just too lucky sometimes.

While in recent memory, the lockouts, weather and politicians have been putting a damper on the collective youthful spirit of the town, every now and then something gives you a bit of hope. And tonight is one of those hopeful nights.

Indie-rockers The Delta Riggs will be headlining a one-day whiskey and food festival of fun thanks to Jameson at The Commune in Waterloo. A fab warehouse venue, the party will kick off at The Commune at 3pm and go all the way through to 10pm for a full-day American-feel festival.

Joining the Riggs will be local eccentrics The Gooch Palms, Sloan Peterson, Display Homes and FBi DJs for all of your musical needs.

You’ll be well fed too, with Frankie’s Pizza dishing up the best slices in town, Continental Deli providing everyones favourite cured meats, Young Henry’s pouring the cold beers and of course plenty of whiskey tastings and bevs from Jameson in an arms reach.

All you have to do is register at JJ’s Place Official Website here, and you + a mate will be locked right in.
