The Riverdale Cast Honoured Their Beloved Luke Perry In A Collection Of Tributes This Week

Following the unsettling death of Luke Perry earlier this week, the Riverdale cast have honoured the late actor in what are a beautiful collection of extremely heartfelt posts. Perry, who played Archie Andrews’ Dad in the Netflix series, was a dear friend and role model to many of the cast. Also known for his role in the 90’s hit show 90120, the shocking death of Perry was impactful to two generations of fans.

Luke, I am so lucky to have known you & gotten so close to you these last 3 years. You were such a light in our lives; the most genuine & kind soul I will ever know. From day one of this show you were the most amazing mentor to me. Madelaine Petsch, who plays Cheryl Blossom, wrote a heart wrenchingly beautiful message to the late star. Co-stars Cole Sprouse and KJ Apa resorted to fewer yet equally as touching words.

The most recent episode of Riverdale also paid tribute to Perry as the show drew to a close. A chilling reminder than even in spite of tragedy, the show must go on.


Luke Perry’s death was an absolutely horrible shock to many, both to those in the industry and millions of fans who formed a bond with him through the big-screen.
