US billionaire Jefferey Epstein was arrested recently for sex trafficking girls as young as 14 years old. The 66 year old has been charged with two counts of sex trafficking, and is currently held in detention in New York City until his trial. There’s a lot to delve in to with this case, considering this is not the first time Epstein has been charged with these counts. And he’s also a powerful man with even more powerful friends (cough, cough two US presidents). But more than that, the findings of Epstein’s case are absolutely horrific. And, he basically got away with sex trafficking a decade ago, with essentially a slap on the wrist as punishment. But this time around, things seem to be different.
Who TF is Jefferey Epstein?
Jeff Epstein is a billionaire sex offender with some pretty important friends. He’s the CEO of his own firm Epstein and Co., and is basically one of the top money guys in the world. In recent years, he’s been seen hanging out with Bill Clinton and of course, Donald Trump.
He started his company in 1982, and since has been in control of billions of dollars worth of assets in the states.Yikes.
The billionaire has residency in both New York and Florida, and has reportedly been abusing young girls in both states.
Epstein’s History of Abuse:
This is not the first time Epstein has been charge with sexually assaulting minors. Over a decade ago, Epstein was arrested in Florida for these same counts. However, he got a seriously lenient plea deal, and was basically released when he should have gotten a bloody lifetime in prison.
He was arrested on the findings of sex trafficking young girls for years, from at least 2002 to 2005. Reportedly, Epstein would lure young girls in to his home saying he would pay them for a “massage,” and what came next was absolutely horrific. His attacks went so far, he actually told the young girls they would get cash benefits for suggesting friends to him. With that, he abused over 80 young girls. All of which were under the age of 18 years old.
He spent 13 months in jail in Palm Beach, Florida for these charges. Only thirteen months, WTFFFF. And adding to this disgusting story, Epstein’s attorney on the Florida case was Alexander Acosta, who’s now Donald Trump’s Labour Secretary.
What he’s being charged with now:
Esptein was charged Monday 8 July in Manhattan with sexual assaulting minors and two-counts of sex trafficking. While Epstein pleaded not guilty, investigators are looking in to his case. And there’s deff enough proof to hopefully say this guy’s fucked for life.
Investigators raided Epstein’s home, and found heaps of images showing young naked girls. So, New York City police arrested Epstein in a New Jersey airport when he was flying home from Paris.
The indictment says Epstein “would escalate the nature and scope of physical contact with his victim to include, among other things, sex acts such as groping and direct and indirect contact with the victim’s genitals.” Literal 14 year old girls were exposed to this, and they’ve lived with this trauma for over a decade. Meanwhile, Epstein was continuing on with his life. Fuck no.
Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein:
Jeffrey Epstein has been friends with Donald Trump for years, which comes as a surprise to no one. I mean, they both have sexually assaulting women and being really wealthy in common, which I guess can be a recipe for friendship.
But what Donald Trump has said about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein is too gross, even for Trump. He told New York Magazine in 2002, “I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.” Gross. Like, how TF is this predator the president of the United States.
And seriously, Donald Trump appointed Acosta, the person who defended Epstein a decade ago, to a major position in the US government. Trump has made no comments on Epstein’s charges. Donald Trump tweets about everything, so we’re all a bit confused by this silence. Although, I mean are we really? Not the first and certainly not the last time Trump has been in kahoots with this kind of thing.
However, Bill Clinton has come out saying he had no idea of Epstein’s disgusting behaviour. Hmm.
