Two Aussie Legends Are Helping Greta Thunberg Get From The US To Spain For A UN Climate Conference

The enviro-kween is getting a lift aboard a sailing catamaran.

The UN Climate Conference known as COP25 (Conference of the Parties in case you’re wondering) is taking place in Madrid and our fave environmental crusader now has a mode of eco-friendly transportation to get there. Riley Whitlum and Elayana Carausu offered to give Greta a ride across the Atlantic ocean, joined by Brit Nikki Henderson who is a pro sailor.

The Aussie couple are YouTubers known by their handle ‘Sailing La Vagabonde’ and have sailed the world with their bub in tow. The gang set sail for Europe tomorrow morning from Virginia in the US to make it in time for the UN conference, which will take around 3 weeks.

The original host for the conference was Chile but escalating protests prompted the change of venue. Greta has been in the US spreading awareness about the climate crisis and encouraging peeps to get their vote on. What a legend.
