With James Bond, Spectre, due for release this year rumours have been circulating as to who will replace Daniel Craig as Bond. Who would you pick?
James Bond has always been played by a classic, classy and confident male. I love that Daniel Craig gave a roughness to the character, so I’d love to see a continuation of the less polished Bond – perhaps Clive Owen? I think he could pull it off.
The Lindt Cafe has re-opened after the Sydney Siege events. Will you visit it?
I used to go there a lot, so I’ll go back again just to test the waters on how I feel.
Kim Kardashian really can’t stay out of newsfeeds. What are your thoughts on her?
I really like Kim Kardashian and I don’t really know why, because I also find her quite irritating. She’s a bit of harmless fun, she’s not hurting anyone.
Opal card concerns on buses. Do you think the new public transport system has worked well?
It’s better than it was but still has room for improvement. I still wish we had a system more like the London Underground.
Microsoft are set to re-launch Internet Explorer under a new name. Will you give it a go or has IE scarred you internet days?
No. I’ve never used Internet Explorer, unless it was to download Google Chrome – I prefer the simpler interface.
University regulations. Do you think they will ever pass and become official?
Who knows. There’s always talks of new regulations, so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Bieber roast. Are roasts acceptable satirical events or do they push the boundary too much?
Roasts are fine, as long as what is said is not extremely offensive to anyone. But I’ll make an exception for Justin Bieber because he’s the worst thing to come along since Aaron Carter.
Public stabbings. Can anything be done to stop them?
No. We don’t have a big enough police force to enforce it and even if we did, how would you police it? Knife checks at every corner?
New metadata journalism laws. Do you agree with the move to further protect journalists’ sources?
Yes, I think this is fine. Information will not be accessed without an official police warrant so I don’t see any problem with information being stored.
ISIS claim Tunisian bombing responsibility. Would you visit the country given these events?
Definitely not. I wouldn’t feel safe at all.
