Reports came out this week that Tony Abbott has been telling politicians in the UK that he’ll be PM again; disillusioned man or comeback on the cards?

Disillusioned man. That’s like Nikolas Bendtner telling people he is the best footballer in the world. Lord Abbott at it again.

The Australians caught in Malaysia for wearing the latter’s flag on budgie smugglers are facing up to 6 months, idiots abroad or harmless fun?

I would like to say harmless fun as its a pretty trivial thing to get locked up for. But as a seasoned travelled you have to know what weird and wonderful things will get you in trouble.

The contraceptive pill has been linked to depression in a new study, doctors almost solely prescribe the pill for contraception; should this shift to alternatives or is the push of pharma companies to blame?

I don’t think you can ever rule out the pharmaceutical industry in matters such as this. A shift to alternatives is definitely the best solution. It would be hard enough growing up as a teenage girl without your contraceptive pill making you feel horrible.

Kim Kardashian was robbed of $11 million worth of jewellery this week in Paris, a consequence of flashing her wealth or crime of opportunity?

Consequence. The whole family (bar Scott Disick, comedy bloke) are arrogant, shallow, superficial and un-intelligent. Of course that doesn’t make it right, and I think this was a well planned crime, but the way she markets herself is going to irritate people.

420 soldiers were arrested in the armed forces in the last year for cannabis use, perfect headline or revealing fact.

Was there actually 430 of them? LOL. Revealing fact. this should not be viewed as a criminal act more as a mental health issue. that soldiers are engaging in it shows both their emotional trauma and how cannabis might help medicinally.

Google revealed it’s new phone this week, serious competitor in the smartphone game or just a flashy camera phone?

I think it’s exciting if you are really into smartphones. Google are such innovators and it would be good to get a more competitive market.

The Pirate party which begun in Sweden fighting internet restrictions is actually looking to win big in Iceland’s next election, popular phenomenon or indicative of change?

Hard to say. If they just stick to their internet freedom and copyright policies and stay neutral on everything else then there is only so far they could go. I can see change coming with it but nothing substantial.

Havana has been named the second most searched destination in the last year, would you be down to travel Cuba?

Were they searching for travel options or offshore banking options? I would be down for the latter. I need my money in a place I can’t touch it.

A club in LA has opened with the door policy of refusing ugly people, vanity gone mad or the first explicit door policy ever?

No surprise it was in LA. the whole place is vanity gone mad! as funny as it is, you’d love to be a fly on the wall inside (or the best looking in there), it’s ridiculous. I might open a club for only ugly people in Manchester. Red Jerseys everywhere!

Marvel’s newest superhero series featuring Luke Cage overloaded Netflix upon release, are you over the superhero or keen for more?

Haven’t seen it yet but Im a sucker for this whole superhero madness, my inner child hopes it never ends. With the money coming in for it as well I don’t see an end in the near/medium future.
