The Quarantine Station In Sydney Is Hosting Speed Dating So Sign Up For A Date With A Ghost

If you’re anything like me, then you’re a true crime, ghost and ghoul kinda weirdo. You’ve solved the JonBenét Ramsey case approximately 376 times (the brother did it). You listen to more crime podcasts than you can poke a stick at, and you know how to dispose of a body… theoretically.

If this sounds like you, AND you’re single, then what I have for you may be right up your alley.

Super haunted and all round spooky Quarantine Station in Sydney is hosting speed dating this Valentine’s Day. You could be lucky enough to meet your future bae in the v haunted showers of the Q Station (Super spooky. Most haunted area on the site. Stuff of nightmares. Pictured above). This is where people used to be processed and washed with acid (yep, ACID) right when they got off the boats.

The best thing about this is if you’re meeting someone here, chances are they’re also into all things spooky. Potentially cuts out the awkwardness later on when you’re explaining your favourite murderer to them.

The event includes canapés on arrival, a three hour drinks package, then an hour of speed dating. Finally the night’s capped off with an hour ghost tour around the facility. Nothing like some spooky stories in the moonlight to get the blood pumping. Also gives you the perfect chance to cosy up to your fave when you’re scared. Maybe even run off into one of the many dark corners for a bit of ghoulish fun.

The Quarantine Station is supposed to be the most haunted place in Australia, so you’re sure to have some fun. As they say, “there’s nothing like a bit of adrenaline to spark a new romance.” So if you’ve got no plans for Feb 14th, but are looking for something spooky, this is definitely the ticket. Unfortunately this year the event is only for 25-35 year olds, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they’ll be back next year with a wider age range.

Head to the Facebook event for more info. Tickets cost $99 but are limited to 24 ladies and 24 dudes, so if you’re keen jump on it now.
