Savour the tastes of wood-fired pizza, freshly strung pasta (served in a cheese wheel!) And fine cured meats only of the highest Italian quality. Comforting like a warm embrace, a great hot chocolate is hard to come by. Clumpy chocolate powder, lukewarm milk and homebrand marshmallows; up your hot chocolate game and taste the best there is to offer. Drive down to Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and celebrate the festival of warm chocolatey goodness with a selection of flavours, brownie, cookies and cream, Golden Gaytime and the real MVP Nutella. None of this itty bitty marshmallow business, at the hot chocolate festival expect a giant hand crafted marshmallow soaking in your mug. I’ll have one of each, thanks.

An Easter egg hunt for the discernible taste? Hunt for your truffles in the Oak Forest at Canberra’s Trufflerie (what a wonderful word). Hoist your way with the trained truffle dogs who sniff out the prized black Perigord truffles, affectionately known as black magic. Once you’ve done the hard yards head into the warmth and savour the truffles for yourself. Take home truffle butter or truffle ice cream for another time, treat yo self.
