In some pretty crazy news, Sydney CBD is in lockdown after a man reportedly made stabbed at least one woman, before being arrested. After the incident, the man was reportedly restrained by by-passers before police intervened. The woman was taken to hospital and is in a stable condition.
Check out the full police statement below:
For now if you’re in Sydney, police say the situation has been sorted and that they believe currently there are no threats to the public. However, it is a tense situation and there are multiple road closures and transport delays. It’s frightening news, that draw eerie comparisons to the Lindt Cafe incident in Sydney nearly five years ago.
More to come.
