The latest in this whole Egg Boy saga involves a 17 year old, a lot of money, and impressive generosity. Following his meteoric rise to fame for the now iconic egging, a GoFundMe page has been set up in support of the young activist. Currently, the page has raised almost $60,000 for the lad, and it’s rising.
The official description of the fundraiser is as follows: “Our hero EggBoi takes on Fraser Anning, the senator for Queensland that is now despised around the world for comments made after the shooting at a New Zealand mosque.” It will be donating the money to him to cover both his legal fees, and “more eggs”.
While the average teenager would be gleefully rubbing their hands together, young Willy boy is not. The honourable Mr Will “Egg Boy” Connolly has pledged to donate a majority of the money to the victims of the Christchurch attack.
Naturally Twitter has a lot of feelings, and Egg Boy has been further lifted to national hero status.

This surely won’t be the last we hear of old Eggy, but until then, keep it up, bud.
