Aussie babe Margot Robbie gave the world a sneak peek of the new name of the solo Harley Quinn film currently in the making. Titled ‘Birds Of Prey: And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn’ we’re curious about what’s in store for the next DC movie.
Although DC’s ‘Suicide Squad’ received pretty dodgy reviews, we’re keen to see what Margot Robbie’s got in store. After all, she was the favourite character. While some are caught up in the length of the title, many are keen to see what DC will bring in terms of the classic HQ story.
Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is a fitting title bc Harley isn’t typically a member of Birds of Prey. Sounds like they’ll be helping Harley break free from Joker and welcoming her to their ranks (to hilarious results, I’d imagine). pic.twitter.com/7ouw5RBsVP

Margot Robbie has been taking a strong stance in the development of this film. She first discussed the idea of a diverse ‘girl-gang’ in 2015 during the filming of Suicide Squad.
‘I pitched the idea of an R-rated girl gang film including Harley, because I was like, ‘Harley needs friends’… She’s got to be with other people, it should be a girl gang. I wasn’t seeing enough girl gangs on screen, especially in the action space. So that was always a big part of it.’
People are mad abt Birds of Prey instead of being like grateful for this all female superhero team opportunity I have no words

Robbie is joined by actor Ewan McGregor, who is set to play the villain, the Black Mask. ‘Birds Of Prey: And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn‘ is set to be released early 2020.
